Sweet and Spicy – Balinese spices

Balinese spices are well-known throughout Indonesia as a sweet and spicy spice that is widely liked throughout the country. This Balinese spice is usually cooked for eggs and chicken. Tofu and tempeh are often included. The combination of spicy and savory tastes so delicious on the tongue.

You can make in rather large quantities, so that it can be stock for the following days. Just vary the side dishes. Can be used for daily menus, here is the Balinese spice recipe below.


  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 7 cloves of red onion
  • 3 pecans, roasted
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 7 pieces of cayenne pepper
  • 2 large red chilies, discard the contents
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar comb

How to cook

  • Puree the garlic, shallots, roasted candlenuts, tomatoes, cayenne pepper, large red chilies, and brown sugar by pulverizing or blending them.
